Our Brand Evolution

Evolving & Aligning

So, why are we evolving? Well, part of that answer has to do with how we want to show up in service to others, but it’s also rooted in how this all began – in service to self.

You know the over-used saying that you need to put your oxygen mask on first, before you help others? Well, it’s used a lot because it’s true, and also not what we are trained to do

When I began doing this work, it was because I had committed to a deep healing journey in my own life.   While I had a great therapist, I was hyper aware of the limitations of that relationship and just how easy it was to intellectualize and recognize patterns without making the embodied changes to both break and heal those cycles.  The more I learned the deeper I could go into the work; the deeper I went into the work the more aware I became of the how and why to both limitations and expansion in my life.

Mental health alone is not embodiment.

Just going to therapy is not going to solve anything; there’s no such thing as healing by osmosis.  When we are not healed enough to be honest with ourselves, all bets are off that we’re going to be reliable narrators with an external party if our need to be perceived in a certain way outweighs our ability to let our unhealed parts be seen.

Physical health alone is not embodiment.

We can eat ‘perfect’ and make it to the gym every single day and still be deeply unhealthy.  While nutrition and movement are critical in supporting our complete wellness systems, our relationships with both and how we use them can often actually work counter to our healing and embodiment, further deepening chronic dysregulation.

Spiritual health alone is not embodiment.

Everyone’s path with spirituality, and personal definitions, are and should be different.  At the core, what we’re really talking about is believing in something larger and more purposeful than self, and then how we carry that within us and in our connections to the world around us.  Whatever else formulates our values and aligned purpose is deeply personal to our individual experiences and is a core component of our resilience in this work.  This is such an important part, but when disconnected from

Embodiment is dependent on the alignment, coordination, and connection across all three. It exists when we are aligned, cloaked and held by our energetic health as the warm blanket that allows us to consciously, yet passively, sit in a state of nervous system regulation and deep knowing.    When one of these things is off, the check engine light is going to come on – except it won’t be as obvious; it will show up as reactivity, repeating unhealed patterns, and feeling disconnected.
